During the summer months, it is not uncommon for both termites and ants to be swarming. I would not be surprised however, that there is a greater likely hood you are experiencing a drywood termite swarm in your home. One of the ways to identify drywood termites is that they are typically mahogany in color, about a half inch in length , and their wings are 1.5 times the length of their body. If you can collect a specimen it will help the inspector when he comes out to inspect your home to identify if these pests are termites or ants
